Pros

The pay is OK, and the work you need to do depends entirely on the professor. Therefore since the professor treated me well, i found the job to be nice.

Cons

It's just a part time teaching assistant job. I don't think there is any particular cons of this job.

Pros

Great benefits package was offered. Ability to have a pension was a huge plus. Fantastic community to be around.

Cons

Large disparity between staff and administration. Academia is the main point of a university but often times it overcomplicated basic tasks.

Lion Line was an awesome experience

Pros

Lion Line was the best possible part time job experience that I could have had during my college career. The communication skills and ability to speak with people of different academic backgrounds has been incredibly helpful in my life after graduation.

Cons

Not everyone is suited for this job; perhaps they should do a little better job screening people so that shy people do not get on the calling floor and quit within a month.
