Pros

The culture of being in a college atmosphere - everyone is very excited to be there and knows the true reason you work there is for the love of Penn State.

Cons

While I worked as an intern, there was no salary paid - that was probably the only negative. Outside of that, it was a great experience.

- Very flexible hours. - Diverse graduate student population. - Strong engineering programs. - Respected faculty. - Numerous opportunites to get involved within and outside of academic interests.

Cons

- Graduate student research often comes down to $$$ and the bottom line. - Location in the middle of no-where, PA. - Lack of proximity to large cities. - Rowdy, and often unruly, undergraduate population.
