Pros

There is a small percentage of employees who genuinely care about others more than advancing their own career agenda (at whatever expense they can get away with).

Cons

Shifty, old boys club / bro culture. Appalling lack of diversity among staff. Employees who have something to say that runs counter to the prescribed narrative feel threatened by the idea of rocking the boat. It’s common for employees who don’t like their job to stick around until their kids can finish making use of the tuition benefit. Toxic workplace. Very little, if no, oversight and regulation of unethical and otherwise questionable behavior.
