      Pros

      reliable schedule. Can easily pick up extra shifts when needed. potential for meeting new friends. growth in student management positions.

      Cons

      Often understaffed. Student workers often do the task of 2.5 people, but do not get paid for it. closing shift does not end until after the store is cleaned. If your shifts ends at 12:30 you may get out between 12:45 and 1:30 am!

      Pros

      Great institutional support from the staff and the university. Everyone tries to help as much as possible. Sometimes there isnt enough to go around with 80,000+ students, but thats life.

      Cons

      Stipends have been stuck now for 5 years. Every so often we got a $50 pay raise that is usually lost to the yearly $100 increase in housing costs. The health benefits were stellar but they are being downgraded.

      Pros

      Most of the faculty and staff are passionate about making a positive difference in the world. There are many great resources to tap into.

      Cons

      There is a lot of rot and ego in the administrative components. Everything that should be swiftly decided and addressed is done by committee. Everything that should be done by committee is done behind secret closed doors.
