Pros

A great place to work if you are in it for the long haul. Good benefits, wage increases, paid time off etc. Great introductory wages.

Cons

May have to work weekends, otherwise it's not a bad place to start. Great introductory wage. Depending on your coworkers it could be less enjoyable.

non-universal standards for all employees, no incentives for hard workers/punishment for underachieving associates. Hard to get switched to a different shift.

Pros

401k. Great name for a resume builder. Good commission potential if you work in a busy dealership.

Cons

Long hour potential depending on your manager. Our service consultants worked 12 hour days regularly an did not have very good shift cuts or rotation. The main reason being was the manager knew we were all 100% commission so it cost them nothing to keep everyone there all the time. By doing this he thought it would increase customer satisfaction and decrease wait times. It can lead to feeling burnt out when you end up working a 60 hour week then work that Saturday on top of it.
