Pros

The pay rate and benefits are fare. The work environment depends greatly on the location. Pentair integrates their operation site into the corporate structure unlike some conglomerates that operate like separate business units.

Cons

The corporate initiatives are not being embraced by all global business units. I attended a very expensive corporate culture event that was all but ignored by management at the operation site.

Pros

Great co workers. I worked next to some of the greatest, kindest and most generous people I have ever met. Great place to work if you are unemployeed and you need a job bad, maybe you will appreciate the place better.

Cons

Pentair took over and overall culture/morale turned to garbage. People are just shuffled around like cattle. Given a number and no longer treated as a person. Saw many great people leave and get fired with no questions asked about their full job functions, just to cut costs and help bottom line. Corporate never seemed to really care about making employees feel valued. Atmosphere felt like it was more of a "Dont ask what your company can do for you, but rather what you can do for your company" mentality.

ok company to work for. Good benefits but low salary. Good place to start engineering career.

Cons

Hard to get raise, poor management
