Pros

- Free Coffee - Growing Company - Close to Alameda Ferry - Business Park Shuttle to Bart

Cons

- Executive's children are promoted to IT Business, Finance, Marketing, and Product Manager, over individuals with tons more experience and education in the field. - Favoritism is rampant. If a employee raises concerns, they are silenced, and "yes people" are promoted. - Pay is low compared to industry standards. - Culture is Toxic - HR does not support employees, is only on the lookout for the Company's best interest. - Middle Managers in every team from Product Survelliance, Customer Service, Legal, Marketing, HR, and more are useless. Work is funneled down, and they are constantly "in meetings".

Pros

Company stock is doing good, they have good products

Cons

I was surprised to see how inexperienced IT leadership is at this company. The leadership has no vision and always working on putting out the fire. Highly micromanaging leadership that is constantly losing good talent and replacing them within like minded tactical people ** Do not accept the IT job here if you are smart and are ambitious. Your talent will be waste here unless you are offered a CTO role and have the decision making authority

Pros

Good health benefits . Penumbra is an awesome company but the QC department is very corrupted.

Cons

Steady work and good benefits but management style to oppressed. QC department (Metal) was rife with nepotism and favoritism. It was an incredibly hostile work environment and the overall morale was so low it was hard to make oneself go to work. Employee and manager speak their own native language during business hour .
