The most people-first company I have ever worked for!
Pros
There are many pros to the PeopleTec culture. You get to work on highly advanced technologies and interface with a great customer base. PeopleTec has an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) structure, giving workers ownership interest in the company in the form of shares of stock. PeopleTec has the best HR department of any company I have been with, and people really are first. PeopleTec also has great medical benefits as well and supplements a great portion of the costs, so the employees have lower deductibles. PeopleTec also pays well, with in addition to all of the other benefits puts it far and above a great place to work! Given that, PeopleTec attracts the best talent, providing great co-workers to team with. This also means that PeopleTec is continually growing and attracting new customers and contracts. PeopleTec also offers a great work/life balance. I have had many jobs where I consistently worked well beyond 40 hrs a week every week and never was really off work. PeopleTec is different. They encourage people to take vacations and get away from the emails and phone calls. After being a government civilian for over 10 years and working over an additional eight years for several defense contracting companies, PeopleTec has by far been the best company I have worked for and has treated me very well.
Cons
There is not much negative to say about PeopleTec. It has the typical issues any company or organization has. The difference here is you are not a number and your feedback truly makes a difference.
