Pros

Excellent Benefits (pension, unlimited tuition upto 90%, 401k, medical, dental, vision, good for minorities, job security and stability in a regulated, non-competitive business environment, reasonably stress-free (for white collar workers at least). HQ in Washington DC close to metro station makes commute easy. There are several other locations though, that were brought into the fold after the merger with Conectiv Energy - near Wilmington, DE and Pennsylvania. Revenue stream is predictable and because of the regulated business environment, protected from the the vagaries of the market and unpredictability. Career opportunities may open up as a large percentage of employees is scheduled to retire in the coming years.

Cons

Ho-hum growth opportunities, stagnation, limited exposure and value of experience
