Quit crying

Pros

Lots of work, overtime, excellent benefits. I’ve read a lot of these reviews and all I have to say is quit crying and grow up. You want a big boy/girl job then suck it up. Is this work easy at first??? nope. I struggled my first year until I learned what was wanted. Do I hate getting reports sent back to me??? Sure do but that is part of life. This company has excellent benefits and the pay is decent for what we do. I’m glad I’m not digging ditches in 100 degree heat for a living. I get to work from home and make my own schedule wow that is so hard. Work off the clock??? Never, because you will get fired for doing so and the company sends out an email quarterly reminding employees not to do this. Training sucks?? Management realized there was an issue not having training in person as it once was prior to Covid and has now gone back to in-person training for new people as well as added time to the in-person field training afterwards. Here are the three things you need to succeed at this job: time management skills, organizational skills and the ability to write a report. Before you apply be honest with yourself about these three things. If you are a slacker don’t apply and save yourself the pain of this job. If you have these skills and are dedicate please become a team member.

Cons

I will say review can be inconsistent but they are human.

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Contract management: They just picked up a fairly large contract as the prime with a branch of the military. Not two months after the transition from the old contract to the new, they have fired 50+ contractors they just hired, and slashed salaries of those that have stayed, including subcontractors. The reasoning? Unexpected budgetary confinement.
