      Pros

      I worked in the flight simulator division and absolutely loved the job. The people, the job, and the places the job was done were all pros of this position. I was well supported by management while being allowed almost full autonomy as the sole field engineer for nine years (though it wasn't always Peraton it was always SimAuthor). The pay was competitive, the health benefits were as well, and the corporate climate was great. Truly a great company to work for.

      Cons

      The travel got to be too much for me with a young child in the house. I was traveling nearly half the year (often a little more) and it became untenable. Literally the only drawback.
