Pros
I was able to be 100% remote and work a flexible schedule. The pay was around industry standard for my level of experience. PTO can be accrued if unused during calendar year.
Cons
My main issue, and the reason I left, was that I had no backup in place for the 4 years I was there. I had (8) weeks of PTO that I could not use unless I wanted to come back to all my work waiting for me. I was in a daily support role so the tickets and issues just piled up for my return.
