      Great people, a lot of autonomy on project, no micromanagement, decent benefits

      Cons

      dont pay very well, have to be more competitive regarding talent acquisition

      Pros

      Make your own schedule Work from home - no morning commute and any mileage or expenses are paid Interesting work and you meet lots of interesting people Purpose behind job is rewarding - sense of pride in protecting national security Good benefit options and quarterly bonus potential adds a lot to salary if you are good No case is the same - same function but different stuff every day Background investigation - typically gives you eligibility for a clearance which is very valuable

      Cons

      Work is never ending - you have to manage yourself or else you will be swamped Meeting production metrics can be tough sometimes especially when you can’t control certain factors Working alone can be very lonely - I go full days without talking to one person Company is for profit so your employment is not protected like federal employees

      Pros

      Knowledgeable and friendly co-workers. Allowed to work from home. Plenty of paid time off and sick leave.

      Cons

      Pay raises if any are below the cost of living increases. Benefits only cover yearly exams and after that only minimal coverage on major procedures. Senior management is short sighted.
