Peraton bought the company or part of the company I worked for. People are friendly and easy to get along with. There are a lot of job openings that need to be filled, so you don't have to worry about job safety as you can more easily switch to a position that fits you well, if the current one doesn't work out.

Cons

Because of the extreme growth since the recent acquisitions, it could be a little disorienting. I expected more outreach from HR for orienting everyone in a small group setting to acquaint the employees with new benefits, systems, organization structure, etc.

There are many projects at peraton to be a part of, so there is a diverse range of technologies you can potentially work on.

Cons

Projects can vary widely in terms of duration, but luckily there's a lot of projects to be a part of when one ends. Since it is a defense company, a lot of the technology may be outdated, but there are projects I've been on where they are using new technology.
