Off to a good start

Pros

Strong focus on customer areas that matter, so it feels like we’re going to market in a more deliberate way. NOT the old Harris IT anymore. Well, getting closer anyway. We’re starting to walk the walk of a new company. Good new vibe starting.

Cons

Growing pains with IT systems. Speed is painfully slow and impacts work. Harmonization of benefits seems to have caused some dilution.

Pros

Good people to work with. Reasonably competitive rates of pay

Cons

Peraton is a perkless company. Full time salaried employees are really just contractors. They have no bench, have draconian furlough policies and offer no severance. Additionally, Peraton is quietly downsizing its workforce by rejecting applicants who previously worked remotely - despite the company having very little real estate for office space.
