Pros

Theres free training, but it's only pertained to IT. IF you're in business they only offer PMP courses in which you can be certified in.

Cons

-The managers do not support you at all, they will give you the history of the customer and tell you to deal with it 6 months in but you hired as an "expert" - They will not pay you overtime, just due to them "managing" the budget on the contract, in reality they didn't setup the contract correctly. (not hired as a salary employee ) - you may be hired for an extensive amount of years of experience but they may not use it. - they just want to fill the contract to get paid. - It's an IT company, no room for growth at all. - negotiate because if you short change yourself they will pay you way below market and you'll have to wait for a raise - not diverse,

Pros

Decent healthcare options, work from home when client permits. I give you a director's words: "Last thing we want is for all of you to be in the office so the client see's how much bandwidth we really have".

Cons

Management actively lies to line employees. Deliberately keeping teams in the dark about loss of contract or lack of funding as long as possible to try and keep the work going, dismissing entire teams with 2 week notice. This is nothing like a Tier 1 or Top Tier GovCon, much closer to subcontractor in terms of organizational behavior and management execution. W-2's were delayed for months, HR cannot answer basic questions such as 'how much will my severance be' and 'will I be vested in my 401k match'. Soon to be terminated employees still invited to staff calls for growth, celebrate company wins, and attend events. No genuine attempts made to absorb or redeploy staff. All typical corporate functions are outsourced to 3rd party providers. Regret the decision to accept the offer to come here.

Pros

Work from home Flexible schedule Paid to travel the area

Cons

Need to meet numbers in order to move up levels (there are 6) and to bonus. Salary is non-negotiable as each level is set amount.
