Journeyman get a chance to step up. Safety is second to none. Steady work.
Cons
Opportunity’s only for individuals who are part of general superintendents click. General foreman don’t get paid GF wage. As a GF you will grow out of the opportunity that’s available. As a foreman you will be expected to carry the load of the responsibility, asking for help or expecting to be set up for success is not likely. Your success is dependent on if you can get your PE/PM to make time for your project. PE/PM’s are so overwhelmed with projects they have no chance to do good for all there projects.
