      As I was promoted from within this gave me many networking opportunities. I was also able to travel and enjoy many food samples to try or share with customers.

      Pros

      Discounts on food items. Knowledge about the food industry. Movement in the company is easy (switching roles/jobs). Fun outings during the summer months.

      Cons

      Compensation with more work is not available (E.G. my team said I was the “Senior CSR” and oversaw more accounts than my colleagues, but when confronted about raising my pay, they back down and don’t give reasons to why they can’t compensate). Management is slow to move and resolve issues. Reasons given for company changes aren’t clear.
