Pros

Pay was good Other departments had decent people

Cons

HORRIBLE Management I was discriminated against and repeatedly told I'm young so I'm uneducated. I spoke to HR, they broke confidentiality which turned into my boss retaliating. They try to run this place like it's the 1900s, it's extremely fake, cliques, and now since I've left, I'm being stalked on my social media by employees.

Pros

Majority of the equipment is good. Run times can also be good, as well as the return times depending on your route and experience.

Cons

My experience as a delivery driver at PFG has been challenging. The work is physically demanding, with unrealistic expectations for delivery times that often leave you scrambling. Despite your best efforts, management will dock your monthly performance and safety bonus whenever they can, seriously hurting your earning potential. The warehouse, sales, routing, and management teams don’t communicate well, and that leads to missing items or poorly loaded trucks, which ultimately falls back on you as the driver. No matter how good you are, you’re seen as just another seat to fill, and the no-fault point system piles up quickly, even for the best drivers, forcing many to leave. The company has potential, but the management at the Newport News/Williamsburg location needs significant improvement.
