Pros

Plenty of work, decent home times, vacation policies not too bad. decent health benefits. Salary is average. Good equipment to use.

Cons

There is a vast lack of respect from upper management to the employees. We are constantly told we are the "face " of the company. Management operates differently. We were likened by management to monkeys driving a truck. If you can push a handtruck you are hired.

Pros

Benefits except for vacation/time off is decent or at least average

Cons

Not much room for growth IT department is horrible. Outsourced help desk and technical function to HCL which is horrible. Rebadged other former PFG employees. The ones they kept have no drive and hate the BSC because we ask "too" much from them. Most or AS/400 programers now working in the SAP world and hate change. The BSC is in the Vistar building in Centennial, CO. Vistar is an old fashion buisness and many people have been there 20+ years. There is constant conflict between PFG and Vistar. The crazy thing is the person running the entire company is the former head of Vistar.

Pros

The commission structure is great. PFG is in a growth mode and understands that in order to grow, they must show opportunity for sales reps to make a living.

Cons

limited lines, limited buying power, management not willing to take risk associated with growth, Warehouses are located in small/bad locations for distribution.
