Pros

Working with residents and feeling like you make a difference, helping them make better choices and understanding consequences. Some of them come from bad homes.

Cons

Pay is lower than most other places, no incentive to stay, paper charting, no EMAR, DON changes every couple of.months so there is no consistency, no shift differential, and if you aren't related to someone in the building you are made so uncomfortable you don't want to stay
