We’re thrilled to hear that you appreciate the great hours and the true work-life balance we strive to provide for our team members. Regarding the 7am weekly meetings, we understand that early meetings can be challenging and we appreciate your dedication to attending them. Your feedback is valuable, and we will consider this as we continue to improve our processes. We also appreciate your advice on increasing our exposure through local radio and billboards. We are always looking for ways to enhance our marketing efforts and will certainly take your suggestions into account as we plan future campaigns. Pros

Theres a good culture with the company. Many of the members want to see you do well and it is easy to make friends with people in your same role. I believe that the owner and his children are trying their hardest, but the company has expanded too much. The installation team also seems very happy with their managers and seem to like the job a lot!

Cons

As a Preventative Maintenance Tech, you are the bottom of the food chain. You make $30 for each stop, and 0.085% commission on sales. Your average ticket is around $1,000. I would say you average about $200 per day. Originally I applied to be a sales consultant and the talent department kind of tricked me into my current role saying that I could make a similar amount of money (which is not true). Usually the salesmen have tickets closer to $5,000. Anything they tell you that you need to do, you have to. Speaking up for yourself is the quickest way to be given poor leads. Once your sales numbers start to dive, they tend to give you worse clients, which lead to making no money. They want you to eventually quit because you can no longer feed your family or pay your bills. They take care of their top sales members the best (which is understandable). Each Tuesday there is a mandatory 4 hour meeting that starts at 7 a.m. which you won’t be paid for. The average Tenure for a PMT is about 6 months. It is a job with a very high turnover.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you appreciate the positive culture and camaraderie at Perma-Seal, as well as the satisfaction of our installation team. We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the PMT role and compensation. Your concerns about lead distribution and unpaid meetings are noted, and we will review these processes to ensure fairness and transparency. We appreciate your advice on focusing on supporting our current team members. Thank you for your input and for being part of our team.

Pros

Flexible schedule, pay is good, reputable company, sales position. Stop pay

Cons

Manual labor, some appointments have no chance of selling. A sales position that requires us to go back and fix work for people. Weather dependent based on what position you have.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're pleased to hear that you appreciate the flexible schedule, good pay, and our company's reputation in your sales position. We understand the challenges you've mentioned, particularly with manual labor and some service appointments that may not lead to sales opportunities. Your feedback about the weather dependency and the suggestion to not have service calls count against ADL is appreciated, and we will take this into consideration as we review our processes. We appreciate your dedication and are committed to continuously improving our work environment and processes to better support our team members. Thank you again for your feedback and for being a valuable part of our team.
