      Zero compensation in CTC while promoting

      Pros

      Food, office locations, joining bonus if your immediate joiner.

      Cons

      Working with persistent 4+ years. Every year I received increment letter with 50k flat increase in CTC, same with most of my friends. I received promotion letter Yesterday similar to flat 50k increase in CTC but the twist is they upgraded my grade, meaning it was promotion letter with no compensation for promotion, only same yearly increment.
