      Great work environment, pay is below average, old school corporate culture

      Pros

      Overall a brilliant place to work at. Great wfh policies, brilliant middle management and upper management is vocal and also understanding. Leave policies are okay-ish. Good office culture but very ‘ old school corporate’.

      Cons

      Pay is below average when looking at competitors, leave policy could be drawn better. Sick leaves should be provided and not clubbed with privilege leaves. Corpo culture is rigid and old school, lacks the new age ‘pseudo corpo’ charm.

      Strong engineering culture with excellent exposure to enterprise scale application development, microservices architecture, REST API integrations, cloud technologies, and modern full stack frameworks. Great environment for working with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kubernetes, Docker, and scalable distributed systems while collaborating in agile development teams focused on performance, reliability, and secure software engineering practices.

      Cons

      No major concerns. Strong technical environment with good learning opportunities, supportive teams, and exposure to modern enterprise technologies and scalable software development practices.

      Pros

      Persistent is a good company to work for, specially in therms of work-life balance and overall work environment. There is a strong focus on delivering objectives and results rather than strictly monitoring work hours, which encourages trust and flexibility. The salary and benefits package is competitive, and the work environment is positive, supportive and respectful. The company culture promotes collaboration and professionalism, making it stable and comfortable place to work.

      Cons

      Career growth and long-term progression can be quite limited. Career plans are not always clearly defined, and opportunities for growth, promotion and salary increases are relatively low and difficult to achieve. For employees with more than four years in the company, it can become challenging to stay motivated due to the lack of advancement opportunities and slow progression.
