Pros

Remote work makes it easy to get up and *Try* to do your job here. They don't make it easy at all....

Cons

Is there a word MAX? There's so many cons to working here, it's absurd. As one of my previous colleagues said in their review of this company, it's full of snakes. At the time of writing this, well over half of my development team was terminated. They expressed so much need over developers, overhired, and made it our problem by constantly pushing passive aggressive remarks, disgusting behavior in meetings, and shifting management work onto employees. Can't tell you how many times I had to do my managers job. Disgusting... They say they do PIP if there's issues, but the issue isn't employee level, it's company level. There's so many issues with the way code is done, and the work they give you is so convoluted, I almost forgot how to actually develop in a normal sane environment. Going from this place to another place where I'm able to complete 10x more stories per sprint with even more expectations and pay with half of the stress. To make matters worse they made it nearly impossible for short term disability for any sort of health problems. I had to fight with HR just for my money that I was owed, they robbed me of my PTO during that time and fighting for their disability pay was just an uphill battle that if I had the time, I would have committed to a lawsuit against them for their harassment. They had new laptops they would send out, but they had issues with their environments before that, and the task to even setup your laptop was well over a week long process as well as having to setup multiple app pools and multiple databases and servers ON YOUR OWN LAPTOP?? I mean hello, inefficient? I mentioned multiple ways to improve the processes and they don't listen lol. Just don't waste your time here. They'll fire you without severance, and try to say you stole from them as their insane way to fight your unemployment after they've used you and thrown you to the trash. In terms of scrum and how they follow it, they don't lol it's just in the name that's it. You do a standup, and you're constantly shifting from 1 story to another, prioritization is absolutely horrendous to the point that you'll get 0 work done but have dozens of stories in near complete status that were just thrown away. Again, unless you absolutely need a job, I would stay away from this place. After being away from them for almost a year now, I can see how toxic this place really was, and how abysmal their management team is. Another little slap in the face was the 10 dollar gift card for Doordash during the holidays for our "Christmas Bonus". I can't believe this company has stayed above 1 star to be honest...

Pros

Reasonably reliable employment. There are opportunities for overtime, especially in the customer service department.

Cons

Management is disconnected with the customer base and there is no room for upward mobility.
