Lot of opportunity to help pet owners- adoptions, training can make a huge difference in a dogs life Christmas isn't as crazy as the big box stores Will spend or do whatever it takes to take care of pets in our care If you love pets, it makes it worth it

Pay is just average, benefits are just average Unless you work in the salon, there are few to no full time positions at most stores. Makes it hard to build up a bench of future managers Audit team likes to play "gotcha"- every year they change what they are looking for- often without changes to policy until after the fact. Very frustrating Paperwork is out of control. I really need a form to write my one on one's with my managers? I have gotten corrected when the one on one's were "not detailed enough".
