I was day shift, working full time during day camp. I have a nervous system disorder that worsened, warranting reduced hours and a stool to sit on periodically as a reasonable accommodation. I got neither because 1.) they were already short staffed and 2.) a stool would "look bad" in the front play room visible to the public. I was forced to go on medical leave when my performance declined. Upon returning I was put on the night shift, which I didn't ask for. Nothing screams "safety" for workers or animals in the company's care like locking a disabled worker in a kennel alone overnight (usually 9pm-6am). I ended up having to leave because I was experiencing recurring medical issues overnight.

It says a lot that every single job posting for PetSmart has several paragraphs about corporate culture and then a few more about "in office" culture. Micro-Management abounds and the reality is the "team" is just the usual sad burnout environment.
