Pros

Some good people there trapped in a vortex of greed and profit mongering. Good severance packages.

Cons

Company focus is growth by acquisition regardless of impact on employees. Unable to innovate and grow organically. At Pfizer it's all about the numbers, headcount, profits etc. Work there was like being trapped in a never ending funeral procession for colleagues being let go. No such thing as job security at Pfizer. Management is a boat load of 60+ yrs old, stuck in the mud gangsters.

Really enjoyed my job prior to Pfizer's takeover. I think I would have enjoyed working for Pfizer if I had been hired by them but my job was slated for going away when the company bought us.

Cons

Relocation was not offered nor would it have worked for my family. I don't believe this is always the case.

Good opportunity to grow and do different things. Excellent people to work with who are committed to doing a good job. Lots of opportunity to learn and doing new things. No micro management, good mid level managers.

Cons

They are cutting deep and to the bone. Lots of jobs are outsourced. No more funding for new technologies and learning. Keep doing the same age old stuff. Less people and more work pressure. Facing huge budget cut due to loss of exclusively
