Pros

Good pay and benefits plus the attachment to Pfizer carries weight

Cons

There is constant restructuring. In the years I’ve been here I have not had the same Director (who I report to) for more than 2 years. There is nearly constant layoffs as well. Depending of the location, culture can be utterly toxic.

Pros

Great people for the most part. Great place to work if compensation isn’t your top priority, but having time for the important things in life is (family, time off etc)

Cons

Senior management has lost its way. Stocks RSU and TRSU are almost worthless. Time for a reboot. Acquisitions have been highly questionable at best. Could have just invested that money in an index fund and had better returns.

Pros

Gym on site (membership not included with employment).

Cons

Corporate values are surface deep at this Pfizer location. Nepotism and proximity to and "under the wing of" the SLT get you promotions and retention. Colleagues are not treated equally across the plant; if you're hired as an hourly colleague (even with a STEM BS) it is extremely difficult to convert to a salaried role. There is a class distinction in how you're treated as well.
