Pros

high calibre marketers, good school to learn pharmaceutical marketing, rewarding environment and within promotion strategy give back your commitment and investment within the big pharma pays relatively competitive and is open to global relocations to a certain extent (if you're shining star)

Cons

may be extremely competitive and access to senior decision makers can be limited so if you can't get along with your line manager, things may not work out well for you this can be pretty much the case for almost all competitive, big organizations but in mature ones there are objective performance measure systems to rule out personal judgements
