If someone works hard and wants it, this is a great environment that lends itself to learning and developing new skills to take on roles of greater responsibility.

Cons

Sometimes there are some high pressure situations where deadlines pop up due to sudden needs for medications or projects related to process improvement. If someone is not good with stress, this could be a detriment. To me, it makes the job more interesting and I enjoy the challenge.
