Pros

Great product Great people that want you to grow and succeed Good benefits Unlimited PTO Recent change in leadership, but am seeing the vision and excited about the future, not just drinking the koolaid. The new leadership is providing clarity and focus which may have been lacking previously Open to hard conversations which is important for growth

Cons

Processes are non-existent/broken which makes it hard to get forward progress/momentum Change is good and bad Silo'd business units which makes internal collaboration difficult - not everyone is on the same page

Pros

Working at Pharos has been one of the best experiences of my career so far. The senior leadership is competent, ethical, and extremely transparent. The company is doing very well financially, is growing rapidly, and is also PE backed. Co-workers are intelligent people and there aren't too many B or C players on any of the teams that I've interacted with. Pharos is a very customer-focused company as well, with tons of happy customers because the products are solid. You can work remotely or at the Rochester headquarters; most new hires have been remote, which I see as a good thing because Pharos can bring in the best talent from around the country.

Cons

More product training for new hires would be helpful; the products and end users are technical, and the non-cloud products are extremely complex. Company is running lean, probably because of the PE ownership, which can be stressful at times.

Pros

Positive company outlook. On the leading edge of a new category of print technology. Positive work environment. Good work /life balance and benefits. Good pay. Unlimited PTO. Management is very approachable and goes out of their way to spot-light individual effort and is transparent about the company's outlook and position in the market. The Rochester office is beautiful.

Cons

In the last few years most of the new hires have been remote employees which is not necessarily bad but be aware that unless you work in Rochester NY or New Zealand, most of your co-worker relationships will be with remote individuals.
