Pros
I hesitated before writing this. I thought about whether it was worth posting a review or feedback, and I researched opinions from friends at other companies and colleagues at Phenom. I’ve been with Phenom since I joined as a fresher and grew to PDE 3 in four years, so my perspective is from long experience.
Reading other reviews made me wonder how much effort people put into them and how much readers actually trust those accounts. In my view, a company is ultimately a place to work: you do your job, deliver what’s expected, and receive your salary. Expecting more—especially unconditional loyalty or extraordinary care—can be unrealistic. Today, you can’t always expect a lot even from the people closest to you, so expecting it from an employer feels unreasonable.
That said, I don’t think companies in India are inherently bad. Many take care of employees’ basic needs, and Phenom has been one of those companies for me. I’m grateful for how it shaped my career and for the opportunities it provided to freshers when hiring elsewhere was slow. Phenom was transparent about terms, policies, and benefits—even clearly communicating them to parents and guardians—which I appreciated.
If someone is unhappy with a company, they can leave. But making false statements while still employed harms everyone and serves no constructive purpose, whether the review is positive or negative. People join companies for different reasons—some need a job, others have more choice—and decisions aren’t driven solely by social media chatter.
I felt compelled to share this, so I did.

We should rebuild our people systems around a strong learning culture, increase orientation towards upskilling opportunities, and define transparent, structured career paths, as employees currently perceive progression as unclear and ad hoc
