Pros

Salaries, benefits, and work environment make this a good place to work. The people are very knowledgeable and work to improve the refinery.

Cons

The products produced are volatile and the utmost care of the equipment is vital. Strict adherence to process safety has to be maintained at all time.

Pros

Extremely nurturing environment, the training program is competitive in nature and teaches participants about how refineries operate, how to trade various commodities and how to conduct thorough analysis.

Cons

The trade floor is a little more risk averse than other trade floors so at times you will feel like things are moving a little slow.

Pros

Benefits are good, especially the stock success share options that the company offers for its overall successes.

Cons

It is frowned upon to ask for a raise. It is hard to advance with recognition for skills while social climbers do well without equal skills.
