Pros

This is the best creative department to work in. Resources, flexibility, autonomy, training, amazing talent, great processes and outstanding people... you name it! The creative VPs protect the team from most of Photon's intrusive policies. This only applies to the US based creative team.

Cons

You can be manager level who's hiring young talent for you to train, yet you see them approved to make 1.5 to 2 x your own salary! New hires making more than their own reporting managers is shameful, frustrating, demotivating, demeaning, and highly unethical. Photon currently has no plan to make salary adjustment for their key people, only draining them till they give up and go somewhere else. They regularly announce great salary enhancement, but when doing your tax returns, you can't see any difference. Need to hire an accountant to keep up with your lost moneys.

Pros

There are honestly no pros to working here.

Cons

The hiring practices are deceptive. Your recruiter will force you to agree to a title and a salary before even going to the client interview. I ended up with a different job title which deserved a higher salary than the one I was offered. I’m getting paid $30,000 below my market value. Communication from HR is chaotic and confusing. Management likes to babysit and micromanage and it leads to a toxic work environment. You’ll get 5 paid holidays and 15 days PTO annually and that includes your sick days. Honestly, the company is exploitative and I get the vibe they are allowed to be this way because the majority of their workers are seeking visa sponsorship and will put up with anything for that visa sponsorship.
