Pros

They managed to sell into a few big brands, but they're hanging by a thread.

Cons

Non-existent onboarding process. Zero HR support. Miserable, inhumane culture. Employees are berated constantly and called monkeys. The senior leadership will tell you straight-faced that they are gods.

Pros

You're lucky if you get into the Walgreens project, because that's the only good one in the entire organisation. Very high pay, if you demand. And nothing else, literally.

Cons

** Its a HUGE LIST Maaa** I would be the first one to give Negative ratings, if Glassdoor implements that functionality. VERY HIGH Attrition rate. Total Leaves only 10/year. (15 after 2yrs & 18 after 5yrs). Who cares after an year. Even though they charge only for 8hrs per day to the client. They expect us to Log for 9hrs per day excluding breaks. (Minus the time you spend even in the cafeteria inside the company). Access tracked in each room/ODC inside the company. (Thinking of cheating? No way, because access + biometric is the new system now and a security is always nearby all the access points ;) ) If joined above 20th, you'll be paid only by the end of next month. Yearly 5 sat's are considered as Full working days with no comp-off or any other benefits. (Coming soon are the Sunday working days, seriously! Some of the guys are already doing it) After all your leaves get expired, if u take leave on Friday & Monday, then the LMS(Leave Management System) automatically takes 4days as LOP. (Noticed? 4 days LOP for taking 2 days leave) WFH? (Don't even think about it) Company contributed PF amount is deducted from you. (Not actually contributed by the employer, but its taken from you only, from your CTC) Managers are mostly the guys who've stayed in the company for more than 10yrs and they've become nothing but just a piece of CRAP. These guys don't work in any technology but just thrive by doing internal politics. (Think about how Mushrooms grow!) Flexi-pay: Asks the person details & your relationship with them for LTA approvals. Petrol bills from outstation is not accepted And many many more. Think Seriously before joining. Because, there are guys who have dropped off within couple of days of joining. Good Luck! This was the Reply from HR after my review on Glassdoor: (Since Glassdoor doesn’t have an Edit option for Reviews, am posting it as a new one) “We are not sure on where you have gathered this data, but these do not even remotely reflect the actual scenario. For instance Photon's leave policy is at par with the market. Every additonal day any employee puts in is compensated with an off day Access, biometric and security system is in place for the project requirement (seriously why would you want to cheat and talk about it in glassdoor?) We would strongly suggest that you understand how CTC stucture and mandate employee benefits work before passing judgements. All you will have to do is go through the company policies. If you really are a current employee, please meet the HR team to clarify your concerns/share the same with us in the various connect programs which are in place. We will be glad to clarify all your queries and take up value adding suggestions if any.” My Reply to HR: Leaves are not on par with other companies. I bet you that. I've worked for god knows how many saturdays but i haven't got one single comp-off for that. Bio-metric: Please stop bluffing sir. They aren't definitely client's requirements since Photon is not run by one single client after all. If at all clients need to have that sort of control, Photon has several ODC inside that small office which again has access&bio-metrics about which i didn't talk at all. Your comments are like cheating or convincing a kid 😂 About cheating: Probably you didn't get my point there. Try Re-Reading it 😛 I would say that these systems are in place so that Photon can squeeze its employees as far as possible. Its no different than a company surviving by sucking sweat & blood out of its employees. On CTC: I would pass this, because most of the companies do work similarly in this case but lets not forget that there are companies that gives away more than the CTC to its employees. Fortunately, i am not a current employee now. Happy that i'm out of hell now. For your kind information, I've tried communicating all these points in Photon Employee review program which is so called 3-4-5(3rd day, 4th week, 5th month). But, i didn't see any improvements or even feedback on it, which is insane. Also, recently Photon fired hundred of its employees from the QA team since they changed their whole company process by putting QA job on developer's head. Overall, you guys are nothing but just a piece of crap. No doubt in it at all. No great resource will ever stay with them for a long time. That's all i've to say.

Pros

The CTC is really good and if someone is only looking out for a good pay then its a good place.

Cons

The company is not employee friendly. They need to come up with more organization wide policies to make it more employee friendly.
