Pros

You get to hit the ground running once you join so you do'n't have to wait long before you can start working on projects in real time.

Cons

You're going to have to throw away any sort of work/life balance, if you're looking to really grow rapidly and get some experience it's be the perfect fit if not better to look elsewhere.
