Pros

Possibly the best private ambulance company in CLE area, quality resources and technology to care for patients, power stretchers. I worked here PRN as an opportunity for patient care hours for grad school and I liked it here for that reason.

Cons

Contract with Youngstown means that people from Kent and Cleveland drive out to Youngstown to transport patients, getting held over by at least 1 hour every shift

Pros

There has been in upswing in the amount of Private Ambulance Companies present in North East Ohio lately. To me, Physician's remains to be the top of those. Acting under Protocol for University Hospitals, Physicians offers an opportunity to learn an apply knowledge during your time employed while continuing to learn the latest in EMS. Working events such as Indians games or Browns games provides an opportunity to deliver focused care while surrounded by massive crowds. Paid Continuing Education courses are frequently held by UH Physicians from UH AHUJA and UH PARMA to ensure Skill Efficacy, Knowledge and Certifications remain up to date. Run reviews allow employees to further improve documentation to ensure protocol compliance and decrease liability. The majority of Employees are knowledgeable and make an effort to share their experiences to help educate newly certified EMT's and Medics. Management will do what they can to accommodate schedules, needs and personal requests to the best of their abilities. POWERCOTS!

Cons

As with all Private Ambulance Companies, hold overs can occur. Steps have been to taken lately to improve this with visible improvement.
