Pros

There has been an increase in the number of private ambulance companies in Northeast Ohio, but I find Physicians as my favourite. They adhere to University Hospitals' protocols and provide opportunities for you to learn and apply your skills while staying up to date on EMS.

Cons

Holdovers are possible with any private ambulance provider, which might result in delays.

Pros

I consider them the greatest private ambulance company in the Cleveland area. They offer excellent resources and technology for patient treatment, including motorized stretchers. I worked PRN to complete patient care hours for graduate school and like being here for that reason.

Cons

The contract with Youngstown requires people from Kent and Cleveland to drive out there to transport patients. For every shift, you are held over for at least an hour.
