Strange office politics

Pros

Amazing lab facilities. If there’s any technical skill that you want to develop, they have the resources for it.

Cons

The office culture is at odds with the corporate goals. Management wants a lot of things done but there are colleagues who will actively work against you if you do. This is a great place to privately work on the skills you want to develop, anything more will open you up to really strange social dynamics. This is even more apparent now that remote work is no longer an option. Any tension that builds up in the office gets no relief and continues on the next day.

Pros

they threatened to take away hybrid wfh scheduling but never did it? Even if they are pretending like they are growing into a large corporation for the shareholders, actually working here is more small-office feel for those who want to hide away and collect checks.

Cons

best parts of the company is in unattainable roles for an entry level, and there is no room for upward growth so you will never get them. upper management is very disrespectful to the entry levels and you will feel like you are getting the short end of the stick working here. If you do well here you won't be rewarded. all profits you create will be invested in other places/roles, all of course due to upper management's bad decisions.
