Unethical & Unprofessional

Pros

I guess you get 1 free meal if you have the time before or after your shift, as there are no breaks.

Cons

Management is condescending, regularly going as far as to insult/belittle staff to their face or even behind their backs to fellow team members. No chance to eat while keeping staff for 8, 9, 10+ hours. They only schedule the time you come in, not even an estimate of the time you leave. If someone quits or calls off, they will add days onto your schedule without asking and it becomes your responsibility if you can't come in (for someone else's shift). If you try to call off sick however they will demand a doctors note, and assume you're quitting and lying to them. This causes staff that is handling food to come in sick or risk being fired/taken off the schedule. Ultimately, my problem working here was not with the actual tasks, but with how disrespectfully the staff was treated by management.

Pros

Overall employees are happy and willing to work, through training at least with cooking and line work, potential to move up

Cons

Inconsistent scheduling, lack of feedback from upper management, money issues, lack of training with any managerial duties

management become too strict

Pros

You were guaranteed a free meal each shift but could sometimes sneak more, the responsibilities were pretty much laid out and there weren't any surprises, customers tell you exactly what they want on your food so that you make it right every time

Cons

very strict rules, closing shifts would stay until at least 11pm, long lines made restocking difficult, rude/picky customers, management came down really hard and were more strict than most restaurants, new hires were getting paid more than people that had been there a year
