Other than the fact it is a job with a paycheck, there is nothing pro about this company.

Cons

Low pay rate, unprofessionalism, micromanagement, and long hours of work not being compensated when you are salaried.

Pros

Very few, but they do offer Excellent benefits, Descent physical working conditions for a wet food plant, competitive money if your hourly The salary employees and the plant management BS do not anywhere equal out.

Cons

Plant manager that is childish in his actions. Shoots from the hip, Will not admit to mistakes even if it cost him employees. Micro-managed from the word go, If you tried to run your department you were reprimanded and informed it was HIS plant, not yours. The plant manager is big n the GOOD OLD BOY program from his previous employment (Not Pilgrims) location. Threatens employees with termination and reduced hours, demands hours from salary employees to make up for hourly employee cut backs. I was informed that I had to make a choice between my family or my job. An employee should never have to make that type of choice to keep their job or be scared of their job.

Pros

Decent, but not great pay, ok environment. Wouldn't say it's terrific, but not bad. I think it compares to most workplaces on average.

Cons

Occasional disagreements with management, it can be physically strenuous, the pay is not great, but not bad either. Overall there are quite a few cons.
