Pros

I work with some really amazing people and an awesome group of Supervisors. They’re the kind that’ll have your back. There’s a lot of teamwork that goes on amongst the management team and I feels great to be able a part of it.

Cons

Literally get yelled at and talked down to constantly from the shift manager nonstop. I avoid him at all cost. There’s never anything positive, only negative. We basically have our jobs threatened on a daily basis. They want quality product, yet we get in trouble for sending out downgrades which is the broken/miscue pieces. Upper management is nothing but money hungry 2-faced idiots. If it’s bad, it’s bad, let us pack it out and you sell it for less like we were intended to instead of forcing us to give customers crappy product and risk getting more customer complaints instead of worrying about how much those downgrades affect your previous bonuses. Or, maybe, instead of yelling at those in Second Processing about the downgrades, why not tell Evisceration to get their equipment in line to where it’s not breaking all the drums and wings, as well as leaving so many feathers on the wings. What about the machines that constantly break due to the last of experienced maintenance staff we have, and those who have experienced won’t step foot out of the shop to help with anything, even if we have only one maintenance guy on the floor. What about the maintenance PMs that don’t get done anymore, where the machine adjusters would make a list of things going back to be replace/fixed to avoid down time during production. Instead of seeing how long you can stretch the life of the motor you can hear grinding, why now change it out the first change you get and avoid production hours? Come back from break and fun for about 20 minutes and a motor goes out, now here with are with an hour+ for down time getting our jobs threatened because of what? 20 more minutes of life out of a motor because someone wants to be cheap or pocket more bonus money? Yet here we are in this never ending vortex of Supervisors getting their jobs threatened for not making goal when it all could have been avoided.

Pros

Decent pay, warm guard booth, fairly easy job

Cons

Coworkers act like children, as does management. Incidents get swept under the rug to keep the company from looking bad. Hours arent stable part time often works full time hours because of shortage.
