Pros

Met some great people that I'm still friends with.

Cons

Management is absent minded(completely absent most days), supervisors and leads are usually the individuals that couldn't perform the work to standard but sucked up enough to the right people. The Moorefield plant is a drug harbor, managers have been fired for coming to work so high they couldn't stay awake through a meeting. Front line employees are used and tossed out like garbage. Work less than 40 hours all week then are told on Thursday or Friday that you must work Saturday, for straight pay. Safety is a joke, quality is worse, if people knew how often the chicken was on the floor because the person in the control room is too incompetent to breathe let alone perform their job role, they would never eat chicken again. Pay sucks! Worked for Pilgrims for more than 5 years and I make more at my current job after 2 1/2 years. The job itself is hard on your body, you either work in the extreme heat or extreme cold, no relief from the ergonomic issues and the company does nothing to help you when you have pain from it. Overall worst company I've ever worked for.

Pros

Worst when you step into Pilgrim's Pride in Sanford North Carolina it's like stepping into a time machine for production work with most positions still doing things the old-fashioned way most of the time the plant is a mess but the good news is as a entry-level production worker you are making all kinds of overtime and at 10:10 an hour starting out that could mean very good things.

Cons

The management is awful they are simply Dreadful they could not manage their way out of a paper bag.
