Pros

Getting responsibilities above your pay grade is great for learning and growth

Cons

Senior management has limited strategic direction, it's a very reactive business culture; some senior leaders are ill-equipped to perform in their roles Limited resources: very difficult to get approval for standard research/data resources and additional headcount to support the marketing needs of the organization; minimal to no data fluency for standard CPG metrics and methodologies at all levels of the organization Burn out as you are asked to work against KPIs that end up getting changed constantly Poor communication from the top down and across functional silos; a lot of finger pointing/no ownership/wheel spinning on the same issues over time Double standards for working remotely Terrible benefits

Pros

sign on bonus orientation gifts and give aways cafeteria food selection generous amount of over time learn new skills

Cons

can be difficult to find where you fit in and which job(s) you're able/not able to do physically this is a much smaller facility than where I worked previously at Tyson in northern Indiana...as a result the job postings are few and rare if you are wanted to bid up or bid down or just move to something entirely different you would be looking at a long wait time (months)
