Pros

There are a few (very few) individuals who were a joy to work with while I was there

Cons

Unorganized, unresponsive, and uncaring corporate and executive team. HR and accounting teams are grossly understaffed, causing people to go with out benefits with no notice. Only care about turning a profit, not the patients they are sucking cash from or the employees they are using like workhorses. Employees can't have any original thoughts, and instead must drink the kool-aid to be successful and not blackballed within the company. No opportunity for upward mobility - they would rather outsource to temps and workers in other countries that they barely pay a living wage.

Pros

I worked with amazing people who are the reason I stayed as long as I did. And of course because I very much cared about our patients and their outcomes.

Cons

Where to start.. Pinnacle is the absolute worst company I have EVER worked for. Senior leadership is lacking tremendously. Turning off comments during town halls is very telling of the type of leader you are. The company ONLY cares about profit and how they can save money. Pushing out educated nurses to be replaced by “navigators” who have barely, if any, medical experience and absolutely ZERO critical thinking skills. Navigators should not be triaging medical issues, but they are. I’ve personally witnessed an insane amount of mistakes from navigators giving patients incorrect information or not communicating at all, as well as triaging incorrectly (because they don’t have a license to do so). They say “Patients First” and then eliminate appointments on weekends, no longer providing IUI or FET services on the weekends and instead forcing patients to now buy and take more medication to delay ovulation to fit into their schedule. Because paying staff on the weekends is too expensive for their liking. Let’s also mention the GROSS underpayment of educated and valuable staff, and no raise in 2.5 years while boasting how much money the company is making in town halls. We were told we would get raises in December only to be told that they actually don’t know when it would happen. Five months later given 3%. Zero chance for job progression, which is unacceptable for myself who has goals and aspirations. I can’t speak for medical benefits but the PTO accrual caps out at 3 years. They also cap PTO payout at departure to 40 hours. There is so much more that I could say about this place. Just do yourself a favor and steer clear.

Pros

Pinnacle acquired our clinic a few years ago and with that some nice changes happened. Our system was streamlined, adopted a new EMR.

Cons

The small business we used to have is now a money grabbing entity. They raised the prices for patients while still paying us the same. For services that are already out of each, it’s a shame that they did this. Allowing the 1% to get what they need but no one else. We got a 1% increase because we made more than the other clinics they acquired. There was no cost of living increase. They monitor everything we do. They want a better patient experience while requiring fast/ digital responses to patients.
