Unethical Leadership

Pros

Absolutely none. If you see a glowing review, beware that corporate pays staff to leave 5 star reviews and new hires who haven't even started working. Just read them...

Cons

Unethical leadership, especially at corporate. I've never met a more clueless and malice ceo. She makes decisions without having any real understanding of the business, and chooses to undercut others in any way she can to make a buck, regardless of laws or ethics. All other leaders who stay are sheep in their game, otherwise they've been quickly fired, pushed out, or resigned due to the toxic culture created. Just read the other real reviews, which is anything without a 5 star.

Pros

The work is so meaningful and impactful. You get to work directly with patients and are there to support them through their treatment. You are there to hopefully make their dreams of growing their family into reality which can be incredibly fulfilling. You end up creating incredible relationships with your patients. You also gain greater knowledge of reproductive health and the science behind the technology used for IVF and even genetic testing. I would say the environment here is also a close-knit community as you get to work closely with the doctors and other coordinators and leadership. I have gained very meaningful friendships with the staff since I've worked here. You also definitely have a work-life balance as you only work 40 hours a week which can be different from a hospital work environment.

Cons

There are definitely some unique challenges. The biggest one is the emotional strain. While there are many happy outcomes, we also witness heartbreak and unsuccessful pregnancies or failed treatment cycles which can be emotionally hard to not take on. Another challenge can be the high expectations from patients at times. It can be hard to honor their wishes and desires while also following and abiding by the protocols that are in place to protect patients and their safety. Patients are investing so much of their time, energy, and finances into a really hard treatment which can put pressure and high expectations for successful outcomes.
