      Pros

      Innovative plant science company using both genetics and breeding. Decent pay, flexible hours if in the lab. People working there are great.

      Cons

      In the process of down sizing and are getting rid of a lot of good employees. For now, they are sacrificing the long term r and d which is always a no no.

      Pros

      The job is well paid and there can be a lot of material resources depending on the field of research.

      Cons

      Short sighted view to please share holders. Molecular biology and molecular breeding research standards are very poor. No significant international research community, mostly locals and people from the midwest. Iowa is not very interesting to anyone from outside of the midwest.
