Pros

Big corporation with resources available (when justified). Work/Home balance good. UK management open and approachable.

Cons

Below average compensation. Poor benefits. Car allowance very much lower than industry average. I Clueless sales force cannot adapt to technology, are just 'box sellers'.

Pros

It's a stable (for the most part) and solid place to work. There are some very good people. I am well compensated for the work I do.

Cons

The work is not that challenging and there is little opportunity for advancement. There is little cross-training and a serious lack of communication between departments. This is a white-male-dominated company and it is difficult for females (and minorities, for that matter) to get ahead.

Pros

Great resources for management classes, travel, books, etc. Indoor parking on-site Cafeteria salad bar is a great value

Cons

Direct mail volumes have steadily declined... so postage meters aren't the hottest ticket item anymore PB takes forever to integrate its acquisitions LOBs exist in completely separate silos
