My experience with Pivot Bio has been absolutely amazing. The culture and the passion for what we do at Pivot Bio is amazing to be apart of. I would recommend working for Pivot Bio to any of my colleagues. It is a small high growth company that has selected top talent to work with. It is truly a fun experience to be apart of. Great Salary and Benefits. Great vacation and time off schedules. Company has a strong family feel. Top talent to work with on some great industry changing projects. If I could give 6 stars I would.
Cons
Not a con, but coming from a large corporation company it took awhile to get used to the collaborative startup culture. It is great to be part of and building something with your team and peers.

Pros
It a low-ego, high collaboration and care environment. I've felt incredibly supported by the company on a number of different personal issues especially through COVID-19. It's collaborative, we have open healthy debates to find good solutions. If you have a good idea, it's straightforward to reach out to anyone in the company and start a discussion. People care about finding good solutions, I've seen numerous pivots to better and better ideas, rather than stay chained to things that don't work.
Cons
I feel our salaries are still a notch lower than industry standards. The company knows this, they're working on it, there have been improvements, but it's still not there. I think it might also mean we attract employees who care passionately about sustainability and providing better options to farmers and are willing to take a small pay cut to work on a mission they believe in.
